Among other things, Steve’s and Ryan’s hands-on and client-first approach has helped us and our family: (i) reduce auto insurance premiums while our kids while they were away at college, but then reinstate their coverage under our auto policy for periods of time during which their colleges were on break and so they were home and using our cars, (ii) obtain property and liability coverage for structural and common areas of a multifamily building in SF that we owned together with other, unrelated owners as tenants-in-common (and, separately, property and liability coverage for the flat within that building that our family occupied), and (iii) save money by not purchasing insurance when the coverage provided by the policy would not provide sufficient benefits to justify our paying the premium dollars that the policy would cost. It has been wonderful for us to be helped by an insurance agency whose philosophy is to provide the greatest service, as distinguished from other agencies whose interests are merely to urge customers to purchase coverage so as to generate commissions.

Medwin Insurance Agency is a high end, upscale brokerage firm. Steve Medwin (owner), takes a personal interest in all of his clients. After learning the trade and working for his father for many years, Steve established his own insurance agency in 1987 and has been thriving every since. Long gone are the days of Yellow Page and/or other types of advertising. This well established firm receives new clients on a referral base only.The staff he employs are top notch! Knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They are all licensed and stay on top of current industry trends, etc. Steve will write a policy for you, and this staff will then become your liaison, servicing your every need. However, If you do need to speak with this dedicated insurance broker, Steve Medwin, he will return your call personally.
I have been a client since early 90″s and can’t tell how how many referrals I have sent him…Happy to say that most of my associates and friends have also insured their homes and automobiles through Steve.
