Steve helped us move from the biggest carrier in the business where the agent could have cared less about our needs and where the company had incorrectly rated some of our previous claims - unbeknownst to us, jacking up our premium for years. Steve went the extra mile to work with the new carrier to correct the ratings, restoring discounts I'd previously had my whole driving history. Hi Steve, Betty, Ryan... You're in a service business, and I really appreciate the great service you provide. Steve has an overview of the industry, types of coverages and policies, and the overall big picture. Betty is great at following through with specifics, from reminding customers when their payment is due to getting copies of policies and answering questions. She's on top of the daily stuff and I can count on her to always be as helpful and friendly as she is efficient and organized. I haven't dealt with Ryan as much, but he seems to be learning the ropes well. I could never ever work in this type of service business because I'm too cranky and impatient to deal with customers who are cranky and impatient, lol. You treat your customers with respect and care, and that can be a difficult thing to do every day - but it's noticed and appreciated. Thanks again!

Medwin Insurance has been a wonderful ally and partner in helping us evaluate insurable risks and source coverage for those risks over not just years, but now decades -- not just typical auto, home and umbrella policies, but also homeowner's insurance coverage in the fire zone through the CA Fair Plan combined with a wrap-around policy to cover liability and other risks that typical homeowners policies cover but that the Fair Plan policy does not cover, rental coverage for a unit that we occupy as tenants, and builder's all risk coverage for a construction project. Among other things, Steve's and Ryan's hands-on and client-first approach has helped us and our family: (i) reduce auto insurance premiums while our kids while they were away at college, but then reinstate their coverage under our auto policy for periods of time during which their colleges were on break and so they were home and using our cars, (ii) obtain property and liability coverage for structural and common areas of a multifamily building in SF that we owned together with other, unrelated owners as tenants-in-common (and, separately, property and liability coverage for the flat within that building that our family occupied), and (iii) save money by not purchasing insurance when the coverage provided by the policy would not provide sufficient benefits to justify our paying the premium dollars that the policy would cost. It has been wonderful for us to be helped by an insurance agency whose philosophy is to provide the greatest service, as distinguished from other agencies whose interests are merely to urge customers to purchase coverage so as to generate commissions. In short, the services that Medwin Insurance have provided to us and the coverage that it has sourced for us go far beyond the minimum coverage that large, impersonal agencies would have provided and procured, and for those reasons, among others, I would enthusiastically recommend Medwin Insurance to anyone in need of auto, home, liability and similar insurance coverage.
